Our story started with frustration about how much we rely on our phones. Too many of our photos are trapped in our camera rolls and much of art discovery happens scrolling through social media. We wanted to create a way to combat this with a device that is more like stylish home decor than another screen competing for attention.

 

We saw potential in e-paper: displays that are non-glowing and feel more like printed paper than a typical screen. E-paper also uses barely any power, allowing for fully cordless design with absurdly long battery life.
