Frequently Asked Questions

  • Omniframe uses an electronic paper display in which each pixel is a microcapsule containing a vast number of black and white ink particles. Like real paper, e-paper doesn't emit light, only reflects it, giving it that natural aesthetic.

  • Your Omniframe can be controlled through our mobile app, launching alongside the frame. The app allows you to browse artwork, adjust settings, and manage your account. The Omniframe app will be available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  • Our first model will have a black and white display but as color e-paper technology advances , we will likely release a full-color model. To hear about this release, sign up for the newsletter.

  • We believe that artists who exhibit their art on our platform should be fairly compensated. We're considering adding either a subscription or one-time purchase model for displaying copyrighted works. Displaying your own images and public domain artwork will always be free.

  • We're developing the app so that even if our servers will stop operating in the future, users can still control their frames locally using Wifi or Bluetooth.

  • Artists can choose if their artwork is accessible for display by everyone or if their digital editions can be bought or accessed only with a gallery subscription. Artists can withdraw their accumulated income balance at any time using PayPal. As a Public Benefit Corporation, we are committed to transparency in the operation of our gallery.

  • As creators ourselves, we care deeply about intellectual property rights. Our platform is designed to prevent unauthorized reproduction or distribution of artworks. For more detailed information, please read our comprehensive Copyright Policy.
